Description:

Key duties include:

- Understand customer requirements, implement system to forecast customer plan over a period of 3M , create alarms to management for abnormal changes which will potentially affect capacity, material pipeline-shortages, excess and/or obsolete

- Implement system and processes to effectively calculate production plan based on customer schedules and forecasts

- Implement processes to integrate capacity calculation and alignment of production plan with the capacity

- Manage Buffers and consequently Finished products inventory

- Put in place cross functional efforts to dispose the material

- Control Premium Freight and identify situations where the premium is caused by customer.

- Understanding of customer requirements in terms of delivery forecast, implementation of proper communication modes such as EDI, Internet, Fax etc between customers' planning and our Production Planning.

- Implement and optimize Processes and Systems to effectively understand customer schedules and Forecasts

- Demanding management

- Implement systems and / or training to effectively be able to forecast and extrapolate customer plans over a period of at least 3months.

- Implement processes to effectively understand customer schedule variations based on the past data

- Implement processes to effectively analyze past data on customer schedules and use the same to predict future trend

- Implement system and processes to effectively calculate production plan based on customer schedules and forecasts

- Production planning

- Production plan to be per level scheduling principles. The same should be in consideration with maintenance planned down time,

- The production plan also should be covering eventualities due to potential material down times.

- As far as possible plan for any such down time must be know as much in advance as possible and Production planning is responsible to ensure that direct operators are productively deployed.

- Ensuring accuracy of production plan done by the entire team and ensure timely updating the MRP system with latest production plan



Qualifications:

- Be familiar with SAP

- At least 3 year working experience in production planning, auto parts plant preferred

- Lean production concept

- Leadership, communication skill

- Foster on team work
