Position Summary:

- Accountable for an operation within a Division to achieve results identified by the Corporate Strategy and Division/Business unit Strategy Deployment goals. Leads a team of empowered employees to continuously meet and exceed customer expectations.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:

- Supervision of planning, customer service, quality, production, process engineering of Shanghai team. Work with function teams to guarantee the supply for both production and service requirements.

Essential Functions:

- To profitably grow the business and achieve Business Unit, Division and Corporate goals monthly, quarterly and annually. Works with current and potential customers to promote and leverage company technologies, systems, products and services of EMI shielding and thermal.

- Establishes and maintains premier customer service.

- Leads strategy deployment for the operation concentrating on Lean Initiatives and Sales growth. Leads Manufacturing, Applications Engineering, and Sales functions to ensure operational efficiency and economy.

- Accountable for driving Lean Initiatives throughout the operation to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented.

- Ensures the operation has adequate inventory, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving logistics.

- Develops a budget plan and manages operation within budget constraints.

- Maintains familiarity with competitive environment within geographical area of responsibility.

- Represents the operation at Chomerics SHA and AP level.

- Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.

Qualifications:

- Engineering Degree in either manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or equivalent, an advanced degree is a plus, understanding of the chemistry and processing of filled elastomers and/or adhesives is an advantage.

- At least 5 years leadership experience in leading a team of 100+ people

- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving / resolution skills and a team focus.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to management, customers, and employees.

- High level Business skill manufacturing knowledge

- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing Practice, project management and equipment layout and material flow.

- Thorough understanding of quality engineering and process improvement.

- Posses solid experience in team leadership and long term planning

- Familiar with quality system such as: six sigma, Lean, ISO, Kaizen and etc.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English / Mandarin
