Primary Responsibility:

Requires general supervision, strong multi lingual skills, and understanding of quality standards. Supervises under general guidance in matrix environment.

- Drive and enforce Quality Systems & Processes / provide training for the plants under responsible region.

- Support plants with compliance to external quality system standards / requirements (customer, TS16949, CCC).

- Standardize quality system / procedures in plants under overall China perspective.

- Promote and consolidate best practices and lessons learned across plants.

- Monitor plant quality performance and lead / support plant on improvement initiatives and problem solving.

Requirements:

Formal Qualifications: ?

- Relevant technical degree in Quality / Operations / Engineering or equivalent experience. Fluent in English in letters and words.

- Requires 3+ years experience as a Plant Quality Manager in the automotive industry with proven leadership / supervision for a team of at least 3 - 4 subordinates.

- Excellent knowledge of Quality Standards such as TS 16949, customer specific requirements, and China Compulsory Certification CCC.

- Change Management and system implementation experience are additional advantages.

- Proficient in both oral and written communications

Competencies & Skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.

- Very good experience in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint required

- Strong verbal/written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
