职位描述

Responsibilities

- Conduct and evaluate customs business processes at China plants.
- Review and identify any areas of process improvement through available technology tools.
- Review and implement best practices, and SOP's.
- Conduct health checks to assess customs compliance performance identify potential risks if any, make recommendations for improvement through preparation of assessment report.
- Conduct periodic trainings on the internal customs process and compliance with government rules and regulations.
- Manage customs exposures and opportunities.
- Monitor broker KPI's.
- Implement import/export VAT refund policy and procedures in China.
- Manage internal and external information requests for customs information in regards to duty rates, rules of origin, new program support, duty free and used equipment, processing trade etc
- Assist in the resolution of customs audits and ensure they are managed appropriately and timely.
- Develop and maintain working relationship with the Customs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and customs developments and disseminate their impact to the business.


Requirements

- 3 - 5 years of relevant PRC customs experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Sound background and understanding of PRC customs procedures and regulations.
- Experience in dealing with local customs authorities.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Previous experience in the areas of implementing processes and procedures.
- Experience in business analysis, business information systems, business administration etc would be an added benefit.
- Experience in accounting/or China Value Added Taxes would be an added benefit.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Able to create and meet schedules and work independently.
- Willing to travel within China.
