Report to: AP Business Manager
Location: Shanghai
Position Summary:
To develop, maintain, and improve quality system that attain company goals and objectives and achieve customer satisfaction. Provide management and leadership to company's quality and business efforts. Integrate quality department, quality system, and technologies into the organization to achieve the best possible quality effort possible at the least possible total cost in the long-term.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Supervise positions include quality engineers, technicians and inspectors.
Interface with functions such as Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Warehousing, Inside and Outside Sales
Interface with outside customers and suppliers on quality concerns.
Job Responsibility:
Set and enforce quality standards, with the support from WOFE II Quality and Chomerics US quality
Assists in the preparation of proposals in support of securing customer orders.
Contributes to the development of method to operation efficiency.
Quality system qualification and compliance for locations, with the support from WOFE II quality department
Coordinate quality system audit- both internal and external, and take effective corrective action accordingly.
Reports and analyze monthly quality performance,
Communicate quality concerns with internal functions, external customers, and sister divisions in US and in Europe.
Authorize customer ATRs and request ATRs from other divisions.
Train engineers, operators, inspectors on Quality/Lean (PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA, 6S, VSM ...)
Other tasks related to Lean and 6S as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in related Engineering or Technology field and 8~10 years of related experience required.
Experience in ISO 9001, QS-9000, TS 16949 and other related quality system, qualified auditor license is a plus;
6 Sigma green belt or above is required;
Good written and spoken English
Good learning ability and adaptability.
Prefer Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, FMEAs, and quality systems experience.
