Department: CTO Asia
Report to: Vice-President-Margin Enhancement / CTO (Asia)
Location: Zhangjiang, Shanghai, China
Primary Responsibility
- Responsible for ensuring the overall success of product Cost & Technology Optimization including interfacing with internal/external disciplines including Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance.
- Manages a multi-functional area
Requirements
Formal Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering preferred
- Requires 6+ years experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Automotive Industry working experience
- Product VAVE experience
- Familiar with automotive product design and optimization
- Component function/cost/substitution analysis working experience
- VAVE/ Program Management /LCC Purchasing experience preferred
Competencies & Skills
- Engineering, Program Management, Purchasing or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
