Position Description:
Job Profile and Responsibility :
Based in Beijing, the senior manager of strategic tech. alliance will be a key member of department, who is responsible for:

1.Plan, operate and develop Lenovo global top strategic partnership with eco-system partners
2.External innovation: build up strong network and relationship with industrial new partners, start ups, VC, universities and research institute for harness external innovation.
3.strategic M&A and investment: work on certain strategic M&A and investment to acquire external new biz or new technology company
4.External technology intelligence : strong technology intelligence of emerging new knowledge, and insights to the R&T leadership team. Research and track industry trends; advise executive management on key new opportunities and developments that may affect long-term strategies.
5.Deal closer: Candidate needs to understand Lenovo’s business in sufficient detail and will work closely with the GM to align decisions with external company’s short term and long-term strategic alliance goals.

Position Requirements:
Qualifications:
1.have MS or PHD degree study experience in United States, PHD or MS in computer or engineering discipline (PhD preferred)
2.Strong strategy insight of IT industry in computer, mobile internet , internet service or digital home areas.
3.Strategic analysis thinking, strong leadership and project management ability to work cross-functionally with multiple global teams.
4.Have strong hi-tech. relationship and network in China and US, Silicon Valley. Or Japan.
5.Have technology strategist planning , strategic alliance, BD or consulting working experience from Google, Yahoo, IBM, Intel, MS, or other consulting group – BCG, Accenture, Mogorn Stanley etc… He/she should have a proven track record of leading similarly-scoped alliance or BD team in a multinational company before
6.Strong close deal capability: good personal character of influential others and good at communication to get deal close and set up win-win cooperation models
7.Strong study capability of grasping latest and emerging business or technology innovation opportunity
8.Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese in professional settings.
9.On-the-ground work experience in both China and North America / Western Europe.
