Position Description:
Lenovo Corporate Strategy Team
We are a skilled and international team serving high-profile Lenovo
stakeholders on issues including corporate strategy, business unit
strategy, operations and corporate development.
Members of our team come from diverse backgrounds: top-tier
management consultancies, operations at Lenovo and other companies,
or directly from university. We work on time-bound projects,
setting up a dedicated group led by a project manager. Recent
examples of our work include: 3-year company-wide strategic plan,
new business launch, due diligence of a software company,
establishment of a joint-venture.

Manager - Roles & Responsibilities
As a manager, you will have the opportunity and be expected to:
Manage and complete assigned projects, working closely together
with other Lenovo teams (e.g.
sales & marketing, product, R&D, operations, service):
identify issues, form hypotheses, perform
analysis, develop insights/conclusions, present recommendations to
management and ensure
successful implementation within the organization
Design and prepare presentations to communicate company strategy
to both internal and external audience
Establish and maintain strategy-related tools, information and
processes
Directly manage one to three business analysts: plan resources,
assigns tasks/deliverables, manage workload, build analysts'
capabilities through coaching and mentoring, review performance

Position Requirements:
Education & Qualifications Requirements
The ideal profile we seek to recruit for Lenovo Corporate Strategy
is as follows:
A minimum of three years full-time professional experience
post-university, ideally four–ten years of
experience. No preference for the function (e.g. finance, sales
& marketing, operations, strategy) or
industry
Exceptional business analysis and quantitative skills. Based on
prior professional experience, the
candidate should have developed sound business/commercial judgment
and critical thinking
Strong analytical framework to process complicated issues and
solve problems
Bias for action, drive for results while demonstrating positive
attitude and enthusiasm
Dedicated team leader able to manage, coach and develop a small
team
Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, with
capacity to interact with all levels in the
organization (including regular exposure to executive
management)
Master degree in business administration or engineering from a
top-tier university, or Doctor degree, or university diploma.
Excellent academic track record, graduating within the top 5-20% of
class
Proficient in spoken and written English, overseas experience
preferred
Fluent in spoken and written Chinese
