I. Job Objectives:

This position is responsible for managing our strategic 3PL relationships, inclusive of driving operational excellence and Supply Chain IT systems initiatives, and proactive communication / resolution of Supply Chain IT / Logistics / Distribution issues.



II.Key Result Areas:

? The person will work closely with regional logistics functions to develop and maintain importation operations; strong ability to communicate and coordinate among cross-functional team.
? Manage local DC and domestic transportation. Rich experience in distribution and transportation management. Monitor daily transportation tracking and stock transfer. POD management.
? Establish SOP and KPI for 3PL and make sure standard procedures and practices are followed, track and analysis result for further improvement
? Familiar with market rate and OTD standard on domestic transportation, willing to challenge unreasonable rate upon new route. Strong sense of logistics cost saving initiatives.
? Design and implement a proper warehouse environment in collaboration with Third Party Providers assuring efficiency and cost control. Keep monitoring spaces and volumes to assure warehouse is able to support business needs.
? Coordinate all parties along the supply chain to arrange shipments deliveries on time with the highest quality standard. Follow up any damage or delayed delivery including compensation as per contract arrangement.
? Develop different contingency plans based on likely changes. Monitor efficiency, utilization, and processing times to support distribution operations and service levels.
? Review project proposals or plans regarding process improvements to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
? Monitor 3PL to eliminate or re-engineer supply distribution / logistics procedures that are ineffective, redundant or of non-value.
? Holistic view on E2E supply chain cost management, regular billing evaluation and budget control.
? Fully understand the compliance requirement and working with cross-functional teams in ensuring compliance with import and export regulations in high tech industry

III. Experience, Knowledge and Skills
? Transportation Management / Logistics Management / Trade Compliance
? Supply Chain Experience including lean principals.
? 8+ years of relevant experience, heavy experience 5+ years in an international logistics, transport, or trade department/function. People management experience is a plus.
? Good knowledge for the operation process for warehousing and transportation, as well as the documentation compliance. Experience in logistics company is appreciated.
? Good communication and team work spirit
? Able to work under pressure and take challenge to suport business fast development


IV. Education:
? Typically requires BA/BS degree or equivalent
? Project Management Certification/Supply Chain certification is a plus 举报 分享
