Main responsibility:
Compliance
1. Assist regional compliance officer to closely monitor the branch operation to ensure the implementation of external regulations and internal guidelines, arrange briefing session for the new regulations upon receipt;
2. Monitor the timely distribution of local regulations and internal circulars, procedures and the guideline implementation;
3. Handle Code of conduct related cases
4. Conduct quarterly regular review;
5. Monitor or deliver regular training to ensure staff awareness of compliance and anti-money laundering;
6. Assist to apply for launching of new product or businesses and follow up the approval process with local authorities.
Counseling
7. Provide legal opinions and advises to functional leaders from legal perspective; partnership with business team and offer practicable advice;
8. Review and update corporate governance/compliance/ethics and investigation policies and procedures
9. Draft or review important business contracts and agreements
10. Oversee important P&O related legal matters,
11. Provide legal training on important topics to business teams
Requirement/Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree in China law, master degree is preferred;
2. At least 1.5 + year working experience in related field, experience in law firm or in legal & compliance dept. in a mid-sized corporation preferred;
3. Fluent English in writing and speaking
4. Analytical, independent, detailed and good at communication;
5. Committed, logical thinking and can work under pressure.
