职位描述：
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1.Design of and analysis of high speed custom equipment preferably in SMT and network access connector industry, individually or as part of design team, including leading small 1-2 technician team.
2.Development of innovative new high speed/high precision P&P, assembly, testing and inspection equipment as well as modification of existing equipment.
3.Project management and meeting project objectives including budget, schedule, and quality. Responsibilities include preparation of project justification, capital budget Requests, planning, scheduling, vendor evaluation/selection and management, evaluating and approving vendor design, commissioning, start up, training and after installation support.
4.Detailed design activities include conceptual design, feasibility studies, preparation of equipment specification (URS), FMEA/FMEDA, drawing packages, equipment layout, equipment datasheets, fabrication specifications, procurement specifications, engineering studies, test plans, and detailed equipment sizing & qualification calculations.
5.Design and conduct of DOEs, Validation and Qualification protocols (FAT, SAT)
6.Development of detailed specification, engineering documents, MI and operating standards and documentation.
7.Perform reliability testing, root cause and failure analysis of complex problems and systems using applicable statistical methods.
8.May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
1.Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
2.Minimum 6 years working experience with high speed automated equipment
Design, control systems and vision software.
3.Additional experience includes Project Management from start to finish (plan, organize, control, integrate, and complete engineering projects), developing and maintaining schedules and budgets for engineering projects, controlling expenses of each project, reviewing product designs, interfacing with vendors and internal resources.
4.Solid understanding of mechanical design theory, excellent knowledge of automated equipment electrical and mechanical subcomponents, familiar with machining technology, material surface and heat treatment technology,
5.Strong industry experience in deploying automation process/robotic work cell in SMT and Network Access connectors and Testing of assembled product.
6.Experience in robotics equipment design/development is required.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
1.Bachelor Degree in mechanical or related engineering with minimum of 6 years’ experience in design or equivalent.
