JOB Responsibility:
The transportation supervisor will be responsible for training and developing transportation analysts and other working management process within international and domestic transportation operations. This position will own client daily transportation & shipping floor operation and responsibilities are to scope, design & implement transportation service solution for client , manage and execute PQVC metrics with respect to cost and service performance expectations, run daily operation to support client transportation needs, maintain the service level and quality delivered to client; track performance metric measurement associated with improvement on services and cost saving and clients’ satisfaction; identify/develop and administrates implementation of improved transportation methods to support Caterpillar’s cost and service objectives and goals, to ensure best results to client. Another critical role will be to manage customs clearance for international inbound and customs declaration for machines export, with a focus on accurate application and compliance with the Customs Harmonized Classification. This position need to ensure that the proper Customs Harmonized Classification code and attendant duty rate is applied for import/export part numbers by reviewing descriptions, specifications, blueprints and end-use to attain the most positive duty assessment. This position will maintain the good communication with customs, import/export quarantine & inspection in order to keep production and outbound orders moving with no delay.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years experience in International & domestic logistics/transportation. Role requires a strong ability to analyze data and effectively present optimal business solution. Strong communications (oral and written) and interpersonal skills as well as being a self starter with the ability to function well in a team environment. Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel , PowerPoint or equivalent) are also required.. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is a basic requirement. This position requires an individual to be self innovated and operate effectively in a non-rigid organization structure. It is required for this position to have 5 years experience in import/export business.

DESIRED SKILLS:
5 years work experience in international transportation role. International freight forwarding & ocean carriers business would be beneficial for this position. 6 Sigma concept and certified green belt will help to fully engaged by working within Cat family. 3 years supervisor’s experience is preferred

大型轮式装载机厂将生产由无锡研发中心所开发的新型装载机。这种新型轮式装载机将会满足中国以及其它各地区日益增长的市场需求。

通州地区紧邻卡特彼勒中国现有的多个生产基地，以及大多数供应商。目前，卡特彼勒在中国已经建立了16个生产制造厂，4个研发中心以及3个物流分配中心。
