Description: As a member of the Caterpillar Large wheel Loader Machine Integration Team, the primary responsibility of this candidate will be to manage the integration of L4 system development teams operating within the COE product development organizational structure, including component and systems development teams, manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities:

NPI·

Manage the integration of machine development partners as required to support development of robust vehicle technical specifications·

Ensure that each development team maintains project management plan, facilitate updates as required to maintain accurate project plans·

Ensure compliance to all applicable standards and regulations (sound, visibility, EU, emissions)·

Facilitate machine motion and kinematic studies· Facilitate placement of primary L4 systems/components within the machine configuration.·

Facilitate development/completion of machine level PUGH analysis, and DFMEAs·

Facilitate the completion of APQP requirements, (critical characteristics) and timely submissions to the “new parts database”·

Facilitate validation of robust machine solutions integrating L4 systems across all internal and external product development teams, including the coordination of machine level system testing and validation, and the coordination of all parts/systems to be tested during the PD, Pilot phases·

Ensure timely handling of all build issues that occur during PD or Pilot builds·

Ensure timely documentation/assignment/resolution for all issues discovered during the PD and Pilot, including during any rework·

Ensure timely documentation/assignment/resolution for all issues discovered during all audits, including safety, serviceability, electrical, hydraulic, and VDRAs·

Lead cost target apportionment and cost issue resolution across all internal and external L4 COE teams.·

Manage/create complete bill of material, including L6 level arrangements

§ Must be able to create strong professional relationships with product development partners.

§ Technical development/validation/verification across all product development partners, including manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, etc., through the L6 machine level.

Requirements & Skills:

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, must be self-starter with high initiative, team-oriented individual, with excellent interpersonal skills.

Minimum 5 years Heavy Equipment Design, Analysis or Performance experience required, preferably from a component design or COE team.

Must be competent in the use of Pro/Engineer, VisView, and Teamcenter database tools.

Ideal candidates will be Six Sigma BB certified, have a working knowledge of the Caterpillar NPI process, and have experience in FMEA, APQP, NPI and Engineering Change workflow. In addition, experience working with Operations and Logistics a plus.

大型轮式装载机厂将生产由无锡研发中心所开发的新型装载机。这种新型轮式装载机将会满足中国以及其它各地区日益增长的市场需求。

通州地区紧邻卡特彼勒中国现有的多个生产基地，以及大多数供应商。目前，卡特彼勒在中国已经建立了16个生产制造厂，4个研发中心以及3个物流分配中心。
