When you Join Team Caterpillar a Supplier Quality Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of your analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly and accurately identify solutions critical to supplier quality. Further, you will be using many site based systems and communicating with suppliers on corrective action details to ensure that the customer is totally confident in Containment and Final Corrective Action Plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining accountability with suppliers to establish containment plans related to quality discrepancies. You will ensure the supplier is developing corrective action plans to enable operations to continue with minimum disruption. To do this job effectively you must maintain close working relationships with product engineering groups, production managers and personnel, suppliers, quality groups, logistics and material planning groups, purchasing groups and supplier development engineers.

Required Qualifications:

The position requires an engineering or manufacturing background plus familiarity with manufacturing processes used to produce components and assemblies for Caterpillar Products. * Knowledge of shop operations and maintenance procedures is required. * Bachelor’s degree – or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering. * A minimum two years of job-related experience or the equivalent education is required. * Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative working relationship with others inside and outside of Caterpillar. * Solid ability to use and demonstrate statistical and problem solving tools is required.

Desired Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering* Minimum 3-5 years of job-related experience

亚太区试验场是目前卡特彼勒在亚洲技术研发的延伸，它将为卡特彼勒在中国以及亚太区开发的产品提供研发测试和验证的服务平台。

大型轮式装载机厂将生产由无锡研发中心所开发的新型装载机。这种新型轮式装载机将会满足中国以及其它各地区日益增长的市场需求。

通州地区紧邻卡特彼勒中国现有的多个生产基地，以及大多数供应商。目前，卡特彼勒在中国已经建立了16个生产制造厂，4个研发中心以及3个物流分配中心。
