Job Responsibility

1.Product development and industrialization

• Conduct development of new products based on existing references
• Industrialize new products based on technical dossier provided by Central R&D
• Participate in CAPEX decision through equipment selection,

2.Technical expertise maintenance and support

• Carried out a continuous gate keeping through regular contacts with suppliers, reading of specialized magazines and attendance to professional fairs, and provide other stakeholders with the information.
• Get up dated on standards (EN, ISO and ASTM)
• Manage regulatory duties (REACH, EN and US Glove directives ….)
• Assist Quality management in quality problems solving.
• Assist purchasing in selecting and referencing new suppliers.
• Assist Central R&D to procure new materials and identify new suppliers.

3.Product & Process optimization

• Propose and test raw material rationalization
• Proposed process improvements
• Review regularly existing products in order to get better value for money.
• Develop, implement and maintain manufacturing control process

Key Skills:

1. Material sciences or in fiber sciences
2. 3 years or over fiber, yarn & fabric products R & D experience,
3. Strong projects management experience
4. Maturity, charisma to be able to implement best practices in production workshop
5. Interpersonal skills
6. Fluent in oral English, Good writing reading skills. French is a plus.
