Position: Assistant HR Manager, C&B
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compensation and benefit surveys
Organize annual and ad hoc customized compensation and benefit surveys with the relevant HR BPs via collecting, consolidating and conducting analyses of internal data of the relevant companies and external market data; interpreting results and making initial recommendations to ensure appropriate data are provided to the selected consultants.
Support proposal of compensation and benefit strategies, policies and procedures, including annual salary review
· Collect and initially analyze C&B data of relevant companies, including sales incentive data, to prepare reports or draft proposals to supervisor to support strategy, policy review
· Monitor market trends and identify the best practices with proposals and recommendations to supervisor to support review of compensation and benefits policies
· Constantly update supervisors the legal requirements that could affect the current compensation and benefits policies and practice, including identify the discrepancy of existing policies and practices to propose amendment
· Support supervisor in communication to management, HR BPs the proposals, including preparation presentation materials,
Support to monitor the performance of service providers (e.g. C&B consultants, benefit suppliers such as insurance companies, benefit administers)
· Coordinate the relevant HR Business Partners and participate in selection of service providers to ensure competent service provided are selected
· Collect and consolidate the HR managers' feedback and expectation on the service providers' performance including data accuracy, service levels, use of survey tools, etc
· Evaluate the service providers' performance based on the agreed parameter to support the selection of appropriate service providers (i.e. insurance companies), survey organizers.
C&B project supporting
To develop templates, questionnaires etc to collect and consolidate the data from existing data pool, from related companies to support supervisor to plan, design, consult and support relevant HR managers/management in merger & acquisition, divestiture, unit/organization restructuring, due diligence activities to support Greater China organizational development.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Education: Bachelor/diploma is required
· Experience: 5 years overall experience in HR, special experience in C&B related areas for more than 2 years, (experiences in working with consultant firms of advantage)
Professional Knowledge:
· Expert knowledge in C&B
· Experiences in dealing with/analysis of market data surveys
· Demonstrated strong analytical and presentation skills both in oral and written
· Demonstrated strong communication and relationship management skills
· Demonstrated team working skills
· Familiar with innovative and standard practices related to Compensation & Benefits
· Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
Position: China C&B Manager
Report to: China Human Resource VP
Job Purpose:
Based on corporate compensation & Benefit philosophy and guidelines, to establish effective policies & procedures of employee compensation & benefits and to ensure their implementation in the region consistently
Drive operational excellence to deliver high quality services to employees
Accountabilities:
1. Take lead in total remuneration strategy development through working with corporate and local HR team to ensure the alignment with the company business objectives.
2. Responsible for annual total remuneration surveys to ensure external competitiveness of our total remuneration package.
3. Develop compensation program proposals for review and approval
4. Ensure the implementation of annual salary review planning process completed on time against the approved guidelines.
5. Responsible for job evaluation to ensure the job matrix being updated regularly.
6. Ensure all policies and procedures, and processes compliance with corporate standards and local government regulations and labor law.
7. Responsible for all pay/employment/HR service platform related processes, ensure the accuracy and timely for payroll and employee concerns. Foster a customer oriented environment within the team to ensure internal customer satisfaction.
8. Work with Regional HR managers and line managers for annual manpower planning and budgeting.
9. Maintain HRIS (or database) to provide regular reports and analysis based on the needs.
10. Conduct employee communication about the HR policies and provide management and employee with policy consultation to address the concerns timely.
11. Develop people (HR professional/line managers) for the knowledge about compensation, job evaluation, etc.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree of education, human resources or other related fields.
2. Minimum 8 years experience of broadbased compensation or related experience. Especially good knowledge and experience in various HR policies and practices, preferably covering payroll operations and Shared Services Centre operations. 3 years at management level.
3. Be financially fluent and be able to take the initiative and make things happen.
4. Be a self starter, strong communication and presentation skill.
5. Team-oriented, able to work independently, self-driven, discipline and with good initiatives.
6. Fluent in English and Chinese (verbal and writing)
7. Strong IT tools sense and previous HRIS experience is a plus.
