EHS Officer, Nantong Site

JOB PURPOSE 设置本岗位的目的

Be leading force to drive site EHS performance and culture forward; Support and Assist site management team to minimize EHS risks and promote employee’s awareness by proper risk assessment, prioritizing, implementation, monitoring& audit and continuous improvement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 主要工作职责

？ Keep site management updated on the latest applicable EHS legislation, regulations, codes of practice, China and corporate standards. Update the site EHS procedures and improve the EHS programs accordingly.
？ Play active role on China EHS procedures/ programs development, and ensure all approved and released EHS directives/ policies/ procedures well respected and implemented by daily observation and periodically inspection& audit
？ Work closely with site manager and line managers to identify site critical risks and unsafe behaviour list; Assist in the development of site annual EHS objectives, targets, projects and plans based on risk assessment
？ Assist operational directors/ site managers to navigate site EHS committee effectively; ensure EHS committee be a good bridge for tie up top-down and bottom-up communications.
？ Plan and organize periodical inspection& audit to ensure the site have good EHS Performance and in good compliance of local/global EHS directives and applicable legal requirements.
？ Attend incident investigations; validate all identified root causes and correctives actions.
？ Organize ER team and ensure the ER team have proper competency to deal with emergency by proper training and drill
？ Work closely with line managers and HR to define annual EHS training matrix; ensure the all defined training topics get delivered in good effectiveness; Keep training records and Follow individual’s training plan on daily basis
？ Communicate with government agencies, prepare and submit the required environmental, health and safety reports and registration forms to reflect those changes properly.
？ Keep a solid communication link with site management and China EHS teams

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE 资质与经验

？ Degree in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineering, Chemical or M&E; EHS certification from recognized organization or institution is a plus
？ MUST have at least 3 years of previous experience in EHS with MNC
？ Ability to plan, prioritize and manage time, attention to detail
？ Ability to work under pressure and capacity to handle multiple task at same time and rapidly solve problems
？ Ability to management a project independently
？ Excellent command of English and Chinese
？ Result oriented
