MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility for the full range of accounting activities including,General Ledger, Accounts payable, accounts receivable, Treasury, Tax, CCC, CAPEX, Audit, and various accounts reconciliations.
• Ensuring timely and accurate monthly closing, reporting and consolidation.
• Ensure the accounts are in compliance with Group GAAP and also the balance sheet substantiation.
• Enhancing finance processes with quality standard and service level; improve CCC; control SG&A
• Assist the FD in the internal control and compliance check.
• Provide insightful analysis of financial statements including check of variance.
• Manage the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting on SG&A for APAC.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing or reports in compliance with local PRC statutory requirements, eg VAT reporting, Tax return, and any other statutory reporting.
• Development of his/her team

REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
• CPA is a plus
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience managing and overseeing the accounting/finance functions in a multinational company in Shanghai or China.
• Experience in handling accounting work in manufacturing operations would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
• English and Chinese spoken and written
• A good team player with good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good leadership, communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop people
