RESPONSIBILITIES (=), MAIN TASKS (+)

Encourage and challenge all those on site to improve HSSE behavior and performance.
=
Responsible for implementing the Project HSSE Plan.
=
Report to the Project HSSE Lead or his replacement of any deficiency in work performance.
+
Monitor implementation of the project and (Sub)-Contractor HS(S)E plans.
+
Understanding country specific HSSE regulations and communicate these requirements to (Sub)-Contractor and workers.
+
Monitor (Sub)-Contractor safe working practices and recommend improvements where necessary.
+
Monitor the work force to establish that they have received adequate HSSE training and instructions and are aware of the hazards associated with their work.
+
Daily reporting of inspection findings in the HSSE Daily Observation report and updating of the Action Tracking Register.
+
Provide project HSSE induction for all team members and visitors on site.
+
Assist (Sub)-Contractor in the preparation, completion and implementation of Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis.
+
Assist with and review (Sub)-Contractor Emergency Preparedness, availability of firefighting equipment and performance of Emergency Exercises.
+
Review PTW's issued against the work being executed.
+
Review of scaffolding structures on the vessel and reporting any observations.
+
Provide assistance to Site Management during incident investigations
+
Attend and assist with HSSE and Toolbox meetings.
