provide support for all cost accounting and financial reporting aspects of the Nantong Manufacturing operations. This role will be applying accounting principles to analyze performance in financial efficiency, reporting accuracy, variances, profitability studies, and process improvements which adhere to financial policies and compliance with all federal and state laws.

The initial role for this position will be to coordinate the tracking and reporting of all capital and expense spending related to the construction and start-up of this facility.

The position will be based in Nantong plant facility

Primary Responsibilities:

? Coordinate the tracking and reporting of all capital and expense spending related to the construction and start-up of this facility.
? Perform, analyze and monitor manufacturing accounting within SAP with an emphasis on common sense, adherence to financial policies, compliance with internal controls and efficiency.
? Interface with Manufacturing Personnel, Corporate Accounting, Business Units, financial analysts, and ERP (SAP) applications group with the goal of enhancing cost and monthly reporting of the business processes.
? Perform in a timely manner monthly close and forecast process for the manufacturing sites which include reviewing materials / PPV for discrepancies and resolve standard cost discrepancies, ensure accurate collection of cost, and timely completion of all closing steps, provide explanations for deviations from expectations and/or targets.
? Assist leadership in assessing and prioritizing capital investment needs by performing thorough and accurate analysis of CAR's.
? Assist with budget preparations and forecasting, and related development of standard costs.
? Ensure accuracy of inventory.
? Ensure accuracy of cash forecast
? Ensure plant processes are compliant with GAAP, SOX, and corporate policies by evaluating controls for effectiveness, coordinate completion of all SOX testing requirements, and participate in financial audits


Required Skills or Abilities:

? 3-4 years previous manufacturing experience as plant controller
? Financial modeling skills, proficiency in MS Applications, and SAP.
? Excellent problem solving abilities as well as strong people skills and facilitation abilities.
? Detail-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to consistently deliver results.
? The ability to initiate and handle a variety of projects or commitments simultaneously and keep track of important details and follow up on delegated assignments.
? The ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills.
