POSITION: Production and Quality Supervisor, Klauke China
LOCATION: Su-Tong Science Technology Park, Nantong

POSITION SUMMARY:
Organization of work flow and processes within the Production and Quality division through coordination of staff .
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to Operation Manager. In addition, the incumbent must work closely with manufacturing representatives, planner, finance, quality department and buyer.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Set up the efficient production team, define production target and indicators (5S, productivity, internal PPM, safety rate, scrap rate, etc.).
2. Enhance the production efficiency and reduce production cost
3. Confirm and implement production plan together with logistic dept.
4. Take responsibility for employees, equipments, production processes, order and cleanness, deliveries, quality, production costs.
5. Motivate employee engagement, empower employees.
6. Provide training requirement and make training plan, monitor the training implement.
7. Implement and monitor standardized work and improve continuously with support by process engineer.
8. Coordinate and communicate with relative departments.
9. Join ERP manage system if need.
10. Finish the other operation missions that management assign or arrange. Maintain control of internal/external quality-related documents and records; e.g. inspection instructions, visual aids, quality alerts, test records, etc.
11. Incoming inspection and Process quality control make sure all manufacturing processes conform to Engineering spec and outsourced components conform to engineer spec.
12. Work with Sourcing and Engineering departments to improve supplier quality.
13. Continue process improvement: Keep up daily Quality, monthly Quality Reports and Drive root cause analysis corrective action plans
Take preventative action in manufacturing processes to decrease/eliminate product defects.
14. Identify scraped products/parts, analyze F.T.P. of assembly line, and work with manufacturing to improve processes.
15. Take care of customer complaints.
16. Responsible for gauge calibration.
SKILLS NEEDED:
This position requires a leadership skill. Ability to developing reports, strategic agility ,building effective teams and managing visions and purpose.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
1. College graduate with major in Mechanical / Electrical, 5 years experience in Mechanical parts, manufacturing processes.
2. Good quality knowledge in Production management, Quality Business systems and planning (ISO9000), SPC, Quality planning tools (like FMEA). Training in Six Sigma tools is preferred.
3. Understand print tolerance system (GD&T) and be able to apply measurement requirements (GR&R).
4. Be familiar with different gauge, especially CMM machine, projector
5. Good ability to read and write English.
6. Good general computer skills (MS Office)
7. Good team work ability, general problem-solving skills.
8. General knowledge of forge, casting, plastics, sheet metal processes.
9. Good skill of trouble shoots of quality problem in process and supplier side.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Performs highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations, as well as exercise of independent judgment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position may exert up to 10 pounds force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
