Position Summary: This role will assist and support in the development of the Shaw Floors, Philadelphia Commercial and our Home Center segment for our outsourced products in Asia Pacific, reporting to the Global Product Development Manager. The selected candidate will work from our Shaw office in Shanghai, China. 

Responsibilities: 

• Support and assist in the execution of the product development process for all Asia Pacific produced hard surface products.
• Maintain current knowledge of hard surface product manufacturing and printing process and help solve occurring issue during development process.
• Work with and develop relationships with key printers/design companies in order to assure the supply of latest design. 
• Assist Product Development Manager by providing all setup specifications for new product introductions for input into the blueprint and verification of accuracy. 
• Assist Product Development Manager to ensure product schedules and cost objectivesare kept. 
• Collaborate with the internal product development team and vendors to assist in image acquisition, cylinder design approvals, color development approvals, press outs, first-run production color approvals, and other  requests. 
• Work with other groups: global sourcing, technical and quality control to complete tasks and support business growth needs. 
• Work flexible hours.  Be available nights or weekends as necessary.

Requirements: 

• Must be self-motivated and maintain a positive attitude. 
• Bachelor degree required 
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and be fluent in English and Mandarin. 
• Will need to pass the color test. 
• Ability to travel within China up to 50% of the time.
