Job Purpose 

- This role is accountable for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of large scale complex project oriented work efforts.

- SPOC to update the IO Portfolio team and provide real-time status updates on the progress of the DJ2020 programs/ projects across the assigned markets.

 

Job Responsibilities 

- Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.   

- Responsible for assembling market level implementation  plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. 

- Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. 

- Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. 

- Work closely with the Transformation Leaders in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities to achieve the goals of the enterprise.

- Proactively work with other global strategy & support functions to ensure there are no misses in the deployment timelines.

- Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project management, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on professional knowledge and background.

- Work with the BI & Reporting Team to identify further opportunities to streamline the IO portfolio reporting.

- Leverage BDPs from other PMs with the deployment & other global teams.

Role Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience

- 5 + years of relevant professional work experience

- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Nielsen operations

- Knowledge & Exposure to IO DJ2020 Transformation

- Superior communication, leadership and presentation skills

- Ability to translate complex deployment challenges using problem solving techniques

- Working knowledge of technology terms and capabilities

- Willingness to travel within and outside of home region

- PMP/ Prince 2 or any other industry recognized project management certification

- Lean/ Six Sigma/ Agile Certification
