Role Description:

• Manage End to End financial accounting which includes performing accounting, managing accrual and deferrals, bank reconciliations and related schedules to the balance sheet.

• Preparation and submission of monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet) and related schedules. Presentation of results and providing clarifications to the Country/Regional business Leaders, as and when required.

• Guarantee timely reporting, budgeting, financial management and project forecasting.

• Interact with External Auditors (Annual activity) – provide necessary information, schedules and explanations to ensure smooth and timely audits.

• Work with our tax advisor for timely Income tax submissions/assessments.

• Analysis with respect to project profitability and providing variance analysis to the business leaders and commission managers on monthly basis, for driving further actions.

• Maintain accurate and project-related records, including contracts and change orders.

• Review and approve project related expenses and subcontractor payments.

• Review project budgets, staffing, utilisation and work plans to guarantee appropriate fees.

• Other ad hoc analytic work when requested

• Monitor accounts receivable and support commission managers with collection efforts.

   

Requisites:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or relevant field. Professional qualification in Accountancy is a plus

• Proficiency in both oral and written English to ensure easy communication with stakeholders across Asia and the wider business. Overseas experience is a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, and willingness to grow in the role.

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles

• Ability to analyse, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.

• Demonstrated ability to work with teams at all levels in a hands-on capacity

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables)

• Experience in Kingdee is an advantage
