Ejsen& Dynamic Design & Development are recruiting forCatia V5 Design Engineers to work in their new facility based in the area of Shanghai.
Various Concept & Prototype Automotive engineering projects from different areas of the Automotive sector require engineering support for our increasing customer base.

Job Description
Reporting to the SeniorEngineer for Design, the jobholder will have responsibility for the interpretation of customer specifications, the generation of ideas and concepts to fulfil the requirements, and the translation of these concepts into formal designs. As an essential member of the Engineering team, the role will require close involvement with Sales, Production and Purchasing teams, ensuring that the customers’ expectations are fully satisfied.
 
This role represents a substantial opportunity for an outstanding individual to take significant responsibility within a successful privately owned business during this period of growth and it is envisaged that further development opportunities will be made available to the successful candidate.

 
The ideal candidate will require:
? Engineering degree with significant experience in Catia V5
? Industrial experience in the use of Catia V5 for the design of Automotive components
? Ability to understand and interpret product specifications and drawings is essential
? Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities, proven experience in understanding technical requirements and translating these into detailed design solutions which fulfil the expectations of the customer (both internal and external)
? A good understanding of materials and methods-of-manufacture knowledge, ideally in a range of materials
? Exceptional interpersonal skills and credibility, and the ability to effectively present, communicate and influence at all levels across the company
? Experienced in undertaking Design Activities within a manufacturing organisation
? Proven experience of working as part of a team in a dynamic manufacturing environment
? Excellent communication, planning and organising skills
? Energy, drive and results orientation
? Strong customer focus
? Studio engineering experience

 
Responsibilities
Due to the nature of the organisation, the role is varied. Major tasks would include, but not be limited to the following:
 
? In response to customer enquiries, as directed by the Senior Design Engineer generate design proposals (using Catia V5) in support of the customer requirement.
? Review customer specifications and requirements and translate these into Catia V5 models/2D drawings
? Create detailed 3D Catiadesigns (2D working drawings) of products and their sub-components to facilitate manufacture within the company or any of its sub-contractors.
? Provide clear and concise information to the company Engineering function in order for the components to be manufactured in line with the expectations of the customer
? Responsible for the quality of the design output to ensure they are accurate and complete, fulfilling all of the necessary requirements
? Adherence to the internal departmental processes and procedures to ensure compliance with QA standards in order to maintain our quality accreditations, both internal and customer specific 举报 分享
