Job Summary
? Manages professional employees and/ or Supervisors
? Is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function.
? Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
? Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from manager.
? Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and / or customers
? Global product testing analysis and trade compliant
? Stronger communication skill to determine right direction on product.
? RSL testing conduct with independent lab to ensure chemical test conduct right to regional requirement.
? China GB testing method / standard applying to product and good communication/relational to the local testing association leading by government.
Essential Functions
? Reviewing Toms current physical testing standard and method to provide a proper standard and method fitting to Toms needs
? Support regional product test requirement to ensure Toms met the requirement.
? Recommendations to Design, Product, Development, Engineer, Material and Manufacturing on product physical test result when new product, new material applied on Toms.
? Design Toms Physical Lab room to ensure quality, safety well considered and built into Toms product test manual.
? Set the direction for local testing organization to address product testing need.
? Ensure functional and operational strategies and programs are in place to support both new and on-going business development testing need for integration into new product.
? Implement RSL testing process and right to expectation from global testing requirement.
Essential Skills
? Knowledgeable on product testing standard, method on footwear, accessories and apparel
? People management and design the team according business growth.
? Knowledge and understood on requirements for China GB standard and EU RACH and US CPSIA
Qualifications
? Minimum of 7 years of footwear-specific product testing field or independent lab.
? Minimum of 2 years of management experience in China
? B.A./B.S. degree in Engineering/Chemical preferred.
? Master’s degree preferred

? Expect approximately 10% travel
