Job content (purpose of the job)
Goals/Mission:
Manage Novo Nordisk’s transfer pricing risks in China by:
Maintaining strong co-operation with the NNAS transfer pricing group in Corporate Tax.
Creating and continuously optimizing the capital structure;
Ongoing transfer pricing optimization in corporation with Corporate Tax;
Monitoring the global transfer pricing policy compliance in China;
Assuring the transfer pricing compliance in China

Achieve and maintain Bilateral Advanced Pricing Agreement (“BAPA”) in China by:
Lead the project on negotiation between China and Denmark tax authorities.
Assuring the BAPA implementation based on the agreed transfer pricing method and profit rate.
Initiating the renewal of BAPA.

Lead tax analysis team to provide professional tax advice and tax forecast and assessment

Key Deliverables:
Up-to-date transfer pricing policies, documentation and targets according to guidelines set-out by Corporate Tax (at least annual review).
Take the lead of BAPA in China.
Actions plan and timely follow-up for issues identified.
Timely tax advice, accurate and timely analysis and reporting

Main Tasks:
Transfer pricing strategy and planning - BAPA
Be the leader of the project with high quality analysis work and with timely delivery of requested reports, memos etc.
Support the ongoing process according to agreed time-line and challenge the consultants on their draft material.
Work with the BAPA team to set up and maintain the full transfer pricing process, including documentation guidelines and tools for transfer price calculations

Transfer pricing compliance and risk management
Maintain transfer pricing policies, documentation, targets etc.
Ensure all inter-company agreements are updated and valid
Ensure preparing & timely structuring TP filing with the relevant government departments
Work with a team to identify the transfer pricing issues and devise solutions faced by Novo Nordisk group companies
Perform modelling of special requests for transfer price changes, set up the related tools and coordinate with China Regional Office, Tianjin packaging plant and Tianjin filling plant, or other Novo Nordisk affiliates in China.
Conduct price setting and a periodic assessment
Set the transfer price re trading and service annually to ensure that Novo Nordisk China (both production and sales), or Novo Nordisk companies operating in China, maintain operating margins in line, or demands set-out in the APA
Periodical review the entity’s performance and propose the adjustment as necessary
Transfer pricing audit defence
Manage the consultant engaged
Manage the discussion with and response to the tax authorities

Lead tax analysis team to deliver high quality tax recommendation and analysis
