Responsibility
1. Development and placement of content for company’s social media properties
2. Plans and executes regular social media promotions or campaigns
3. Assist in the initiation of viral distribution strategies of blog posts and articles, using social networking tools such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube, among others
4. Create engaging content, manage viral Internet campaigns, and encourage and respond to comments from fans, media and customers. Monitor the online activity and messaging surrounding all of the company’s online property , and respond to and participate in related discussions accordingly
5. Track open rates, click through rates and other key performance indicators of the social media content
6. Keep current on online publication trends

Desired Skills & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree with proven experience managing online content development
2. 1+ years experience in creating/writing content for Web or other digital media
3. Demonstrated experience interacting with the online community acr
4. Able to be a major contributor in a team based environment
5. Innovative problem solving: detail-oriented and results-focused
6. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
