Job Title Compliance Assistant Manager
Department Supply Chain
Location Putian
Report to Compliance Manager
Job Summary This position will report directly to the Compliance Manager. Under the direction of the Manager, the Compliance Assistant Manager is responsible for assistant manage hands-on execution and independent oversight of our social compliance program throughout TOMS global supplier network. The candidate will assistant provide assurance that TOMS standards (including our Supplier Code of Conduct) are met wherever our products are made.
Essential Functions
Assistant manages TOMS global internal/external audits.
? Creating TOMS Corporate Social Responsibility management system.
? Provide support to our CSR and Production/Sourcing team during the onboarding of suppliers, including advisement on suitable partners, education on TOMS standards and initial internal inspection.
? Provide ongoing communication, education and training to our suppliers of our Supplier Code of Conduct and relevant third party standards, such as Fair Labor Association (FLA) and local laws.
? Conduct internal audits as necessary on behalf of TOMS for new or existing suppliers.
? Keep throughout record.
Assistant manages working with third party for external audits.
? Manage scheduling of third party independent supplier audits and review findings.
? Development of Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and work with supplier through remediation of supplier deficiencies.
? Provide effective documentation control and retention to support this function.
? Interact with third party organization such as FLA where appropriate.
Assistant leads TOMS global internal/external audits.
? Ability to articulate and enforce social compliance standards to a wide variety of situations and audiences.
? Ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing global operational environment.
? Advise as to industry collaborative efforts that provide cost effective execution.
? Develop and provide effective enterprise wide reporting of our supplier performance in this area.
? Make sure that the social responsibility of the enterprise performance and management ability in accordance with social and stakeholder requirements for corporate social responsibility.
Essential Skills
? Strong oral and written communication skill with other internal team members and external partners.
? Passion for and personal commitment to the ideals and objectives of TOMS Shoes.
? Strong MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint experience.
? Fluent in Mandarin and English.
? Ability to work independently.
? Travel estimated at 50-75%.
? Footwear and Apparel industry experience is preferred.
Qualifications
? Minimum of 5 years management experience.
? Minimum of 8 years of experience in social compliance auditing and program execution.
? Bachelor degree is preferred.
