Job Title Material Development & Special Projects Senior Coordinator
Department Supply Chain
Location Putian
Report to Material & Special Projects Assistant Manager
Job Summary This position will report directly to the Assistant Manager of Material & Special Projects to assist on sourcing material project for TOMS products, as well as finish the task as assigned. In addition, Monitor, maintain and update all MCS(status, testing, costing and etc.), supply chain and material library. Assist with target costing by providing alternative solutions to meet target cost. Ensure communication between the US, supplier, agent, factories and PTO.
Essential Functions
? Assist on sourcing material project for TOMS products.
? Collect new color swatch and send appropriate options to HQ after reviewed.
? MSRC review to understand HQ’s requirement, clarify unclear issue.
? Allocate new development request to each supplier base on their speciality.
? Watching development process and feedback ETD, comments to HQ etc.
? Push HQ give feedback to us once they reviewed swatches which we sent out.
Monitor, maintain and update all MCS(status, testing, costing and etc.), supply chain and material library.
? Monitor shoe agent/factory update MCS to us on time every Friday.
? Monitor suppliers’ process & quality to make sure they ship material on time.
? Evaluate suppliers base on info from each MCS, keep a positive supplier chain.
? Basic info from updated MCS to point out potential problematic material advance, at the same, sourcing alternative material.
? Gather development material swatches to consolidate material library, pass these swatch to re-production team.
Assist with target costing by providing alternative solutions to meet target cost.
? Collect and provide correct material info to costing team in time.
? Consult price, MOQ and lead time in different suppliers.
? To know the target price from costing, and ask solid forecast info to negotiate with supplier.
Ensure communication between the US, supplier, agent, factories and PTO.
? Share material info and story of special case during material development stage to relate other department for keep same page.
? Assist communication between supplier and shoe agent/factory.
? Assist communication between CSO and supplier / shoe agent/factory.
Essential Skills
? Fluent English in both writing and speaking.
? Have professional knowledge of textile, leather and synthetic.
? Have good communication skills.
? Have highly adaptability.
? Be diligent, chariness and patient.
Qualifications
? Minimum of 3 years of footwear material sourcing, development, and quality assurance experience.
? Minimum of 1 years of management experience and other relate experience.
? College degree is preferred.
Special Requirements
? Travel as needed according to business needs whether domestic or international.
