JOB TITLE: IT Technical Support

REPORTS TO: FUZHOU FACILITY GENERAL MANAGER

Overview of Company:

Solowave International is the China-based subsidiary company of Solowave Design Corp an international consumer products manufacturer of ready-to-assemble projects for around the house. Solowave has enjoyed a growing market share to a position of recognized industry leadership, which it attributes to having in place a highly effective team delivering excellence in, product innovation, quality testing and supply channel management. While the parent company is based in North America, Solowave continues to invest and build the expertise of the team based in Fuzhou where it maintains a manufacturing and distribution facility.

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsibility for all information technology requirements for the team located in two locations in Fuzhou.

IT Hardware:
- Laptops (windows operating system)
- Smartphones
- Printers, wifi routers
- Telephone system

Software Platforms: run in the cloud – administered from parent company
- Office 365
- Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains ERP

？ Implements security at the regional level
？ Oversees the administration, maintenance and training of the IT hardware
？ Oversees the administration and training of the Software platforms at the regional level.
？ Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary
？ Works with ERP project teams to help implement Internal Systems
？ Oversees all help desk activities at the regional level
？ Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.


2. QUALIFICATION
？ 3+ years in information technology industry with background in both hardware and software.
？ High diploma or above in IT or related discipline, in spoken and written English and Chinese
？ Strong practical experience in Windows-based server administration, firewall and network equipment
？ Working experience on Office365
？ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
？ Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate with different levels of people

Solowave is within the top 3 of Unit sales in our key product groups in North America.
Established in 2004, Solowave serves the residential outdoor play-set and structures markets. The company has grown to employ approx. 200 employees world- wide with revenues over $50M USD. Solowave sells products in 5 continents. In 2010, it established Solowave International Commercial, a WFOE based in China, a manufacturer and distributor of residential backyard play-systems and outdoor fencing products. The company uses products manufactured in a many different supply chains, both domestically and internationally. The finished goods are shipped to the customers from its manufacturing facility in Mount Forest Ontario as well as from a 3rd party warehouse in the Buffalo area and also from a warehouse in Fuzhou, China.
