Job Title Asia Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary
The coordinator of Asia logistics is responsible for coordinate in TOMS Asia Logistics: In charge of global shipments origin from China factories in accurate and on time manner; Involvement in shipment management and update related information; Responsible for ensuring a smooth shipping process by co-working with internal team, suppliers and forwarders; China warehouse management to support TOMS’s long-term Giving program in China and globally.
This position is report directly to Manager of Asia Logistics

Essential Functions
Shipment Coordinate.
? Work closely with cross functions, e.g. Supply chain, Pre-production, Development, Quality Control and etc. to ensure promised delivery date meets, and provide up-to-date demand & supply issues to the relevant functions in order to resolve timely.
? Coordinating the daily logistics operations with suppliers at various locations of origin.
? Track and monitor shipments status and related documentations through "manage by exception".
? Maintain updated all information referring to the shipments; Follow up SO exceptions (e.g. XF date, shipping modes and etc.) about shipping related.
? Collaborate with forwarder to take action to solve issue found during shipping to ensure the smooth and efficient shipment process.
? Coordinate the key performance indicators agreed with the warehouse service providers.

China Warehouse Coordinate.
? Coordinate the relationship between warehouse, suppliers and internal departments in need.
? Regular visits to the warehouse to check the quality of the storage of the products and conduct the stock take together with warehouse store keepers.
? Tracking and make sure operation capacity according to shipment forecast.
? Warehouse performance management, coordinate and monitor the key performance indicators agree with the warehouse service provider.
? Outbound management, including tracking, notification, emergent case and complaint handling
? Delivery schedule management, including tracking, notification, emergent case and complaint handling.

Logistics Suppliers and partners.
? Keep good relationship with suppliers and partners to smooth logistics operations.
? Coordinate the key performance indicators agreed with the logistics suppliers and partners.
? Seek opportunity of improvement in logistics operation. Collaborates with internal departments to understand the business demands on logistics and to ensure the process and service level alignment.
? Partner with 3PL on design of their operation to ensure on-time-in-full performance & stock accuracy KPIs are met, business growth is supported, the operation is cost effective.
? Analysis and negotiation of cost reduction opportunities.
? In case needed, search for appropriate service providers for China domestic shipments. Sensitive about the logistics market information, trends, relevant activities.

Project Implementing coordinate.
? Assist in plan and implementation new logistics projects.
? Support in company’s projects, like samples project, TPO and etc.
? Cooperate with team members with logistic suggestion for resolve project problems.
? Search for possible cost about of transport, import duty rate and export tax refund rate and etc. that may concern to colleague in project team.

Other Responsibilities.
? All other duties as assigned accordingly by the Manager of Asia Logistics.

Essential Skills
? Basic knowledge of 3PL Distribution service providers; knowledge of Global Logistics and Fulfillment Operations in International, B2B and B2C channels.
? Direct Experience in forwarding/ custom broker/ CIQ/ inland logistics is preferable.
? Direct experience in the outsourced distribution fulfillment operations and exporting from Asia to International destinations. Awareness of logistics operation in Bonded Area.
? Working knowledge of inventory management processes such as cycle count processes, WMS
? Be used to team work and to deal with different departments within the company.
? Able to work independently and effectively manages employees in a globally disbursed function. Highly prepared to deal with detailed operations.
? Excellent communication, analytical and basic project management skills required.
? Intermediate knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word and Excel).
? Knowledge of GT nexus will be a plus.

Qualifications
? College graduated.
? Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain.
? Teamwork spirit.
? Bilingual (English and Chinese).
