Environmental Combustion and Controls – Sourcing
Raptor to: Global VP
Position Description: Director, Asia Pacific Buy to Sell Material Sourcing
The Director of Asia pacific material sourcing will be responsible for AP supply chain and sourcing initiatives for the ECC Global organization. Position reports ECC Global VP of Sourcing. This role will be leading: Organization design reviews and optimization, the development of a high talent/results oriented Global Sourcing team, process improvement and standardization, maximizing procurement spend and process synergies, strategy development/implementation, and being the ECC BTS Asia Sourcing expert.
? Functions Managed: Supplier Development/Quality Engineers and Commodity Managers
This sourcing leadership role is responsible for Annual Operation Plan (AOP) goals which include Productivity, Cycle Time Reductions, Working Capital, and Supplier Performance. Key responsibilities will include:
1. Global Sourcing team leadership
a. Develop and grow a high talent/results oriented Global Sourcing team
b. Organization design reviews and optimization to maximize resources, align principal accountabilities, and develop and enable a global sourcing team.
c. Asia Sourcing expert on economic, competitive and supply base knowledge
2. Sourcing process improvement and standardization
a. Strategy development/implementation for Sourcing in Asia
b. Improve and standardize procurement processes
c. Maximize procurement spend synergies to drive sustainable YOY improvements on productivity, working capital, improved supplier performance and consolidation of spend with preferred suppliers.
d. Enable growth with early engagement in the supplier selection process, utilization of robust supplier selection processes and the development of a Preferred Supply List (PSL) in Asia Pacific.
e. Model best practices by benchmarking internal Honeywell Global Sourcing teams
f. Assure coordinated BTS commodity strategies linked across all ACS and ECC global sites.
g. Identify global opportunities for increasing spend and productivity savings using suppliers in Asia.
h. Drive and deliver New Product Introduction sourcing activities.
i. Support the implementation of agreements with strategic suppliers in accordance with ACS and ECC goals, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) guidelines and other objectives and policies.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
1. 4 year Bachelor Degree
2. 10+ years Integrated Supply Chain or Strategic Sourcing experience with Global Manufacturing companies
3. Extensive Asia sourcing experience
4. Extensive experiences in Sourcing purchase complete products/Buy to Sell
5. Experience and proven ability to manage and influence people in different cultures.
6. Fluency in English and Mandarin languages required, both verbal and written.
Additional Qualifications:
1. Graduate degree preferred
2. 5+ years experience in Supply Management leadership
3. Six Sigma certification
4. Engineering Degree
