PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Capture the essence of the whole job in one or two sentences.
Lead sales forecast process to drive YOY growth
? Monitor sales trend to get more insight to support consistent same store growth and lead the sales forecast process.
? Partner with Marketing in making sound decisions including initiatives, LTO, menu, pricing.
JOB SIZE: Provide quantitative data such as # of restaurants/markets, sales, budgets, etc. Indicate size of operations for which job is responsible. Indicate domestic/worldwide accountability.
Job Size: With a turnover of RMB 40B, KFC is the biggest restaurant chain in China with more than 3000 stores managed by 16 Field Markets covering more than 600 cities spanning from the wealthy T1 cities to the much-less urbanized T6 cities.

Scope: Marketing decisions impact China KFC restaurants (Equity, JV and franchise)
JOB FUNCTIONS: List major job functions using simple task statements. For example: Supervises the construction of all new restaurants. (Include % of time spent on each function.)
? Drive BYA sales – 70%
? Develop yoy sales growth roadmap
? Lead AOP & QxF sales process. Design the methodology.
? Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales trend, and lead sales rolling forecast. Good command of overall marketing campaigns’ impact and relationship to the sales trend.
? Monitor regional sales portfolio growth trend, develop tools to monitor sales i.e deseasonalized sales.
? Lead weekly/sales monthly review with senior management
? Support demand planning on TC forecast
? Ad hoc sales analysis such as holiday performance analysis etc.
? Provide financial analysis for KFC marketing actions – 30%
? Assess risk for marketing initiated projects, unveil consumer insights (nationally and geographically) and offer suggestions to marketing team.
? Ad hoc initiatives (e.g. Breakfast)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED: State formal educational level and experience required for the job. State additional professional, technical or years of experience required.
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree in business discipline a minimum, master degree and professional qualification preferred.
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):
5 years+ of FP&A experience with MNC’s (Sales analysis experience an advantage)
Good communication skills and team player.
Ability to handle multi-task and work under pressures
Project management skills
Ability to distill core issue, and present concisely.
Data-mining exposure, or statistic savvy a plus
