Warehouse Supervisor, Material Handler(10p)
JOB DETAILS
Job Purpose
This position provides leadership and is responsible for all aspects of supply chain and warehouse management to achieve desired business goals and objectives. Continuously drive improvements and value-add for our businesses and customers.
Scope:
This is a self-starter position and to act as the liaison between supply chain and other departments in support of customer delivery, material availability and inventory control, manufacturing engineering, production and quality. This position will be responsible for managing team of up to
10 professional staff and 20 associates.
Key Responsibilities (At Least 6 major responsibilities need to be listed out)
Individual must be able to travel domestically and internationally. To lead and manage all aspects related to plant performance including responsibility for the following:
???Take leadership in material planning, inventory control, purchasing activities and warehouse management. Be subject matter expertise in these areas and conversant in applicable tools and systems.
???Develop strategy and initiatives to ensure timely material availability to support delivery
commitment. Establish inventory strategy to meet customer service level attainment. Take
initiatives to drive material expediting, cancellation and push out, excess and obsolete material disposition.
???Knowledgeable in Customs, Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ), local government and shipping documentation procedures. Develop and implement optimization strategies for in-bound supply chain, replenishment methodologies, shipping costs and logistics, export/import compliance, customs and trade practices. Articulate and ensure the successful implementation of such strategies.
???Provide warehouse management leadership to ensure timely and proper material receiving,

documentation and accounting, storage, retrieval and issuance.
???Ensure sales order fulfillment via integration of material and production planning process.
Closely monitor schedule attainment and drive delivery performance.
???Coordinate activities with other functional areas such as Business Units, Engineering, Quality and Production to enable cost effective manufacturing environment and achieve customer satisfaction.
???Develop and implement annual supply chain and materials management plan. Plan should
include but not limited to parameters and milestones for meeting customer service, production
targets, shipment targets, inventory levels and costs of materials and finished products.
Monitor execution status, identify opportunities and issues. Take proactive actions to close
gaps. Communicate status timely to management and escalate where appropriate.
???Develop and manage department budget.
??Keep abreast of the development and emerging trend in supply chain and materials management in China and update management as required.
???Represent xxx when interfacing with suppliers. Evaluate, select and
manage suppliers using corporate guidelines in cost, efficiency, supply time and quality.
???Take leadership to develop and carry out material and process productivity. Utilize Lean/Six
Sigma tools to drive continual cost and system improvement initiatives.
???Engage and leverage global operations and functional expertise to optimize internal process.
???Utilize strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to develop and maintain a positive work environment for the team and work groups.
???Recruit, train, motivate and supervise all department staff. Provide staff competency development.
???Perform special projects and tasks as assigned.
Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations
(state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as XXX code of conduct
and other corporate policies and procedures.

???Minimum 10 years operations experience with >5 years logistics, purchasing, and material
planning in management capacity
???BS in Engineering or Supply Chain, Master’s Degree preferred
???Lean-Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt would be an advantage.
???Extensive MRP experience/knowledge, MfgPro and SAP preferred
???APICS certification would be an advantage.
???Good communicator and team player. Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work well with people at all levels.
???Fluency in English communication and written skills.
