POSITION TITLE: Automation Application Specialist, Regional
REPORTS TO: Automation Application Manager, National
FUNCTION: This position is responsible for application support for all pre-sale and post-sale in regional area.
BASIC PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
This position is responsible for application support for all pre-sale and post-sale in regional area This will include providing high quality operating & application training to the customers after instrument installation; giving prompt support to help local LSS and the customers on instrument troubleshooting, maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
· Focus on Automation application
· To provide customer automation application training after instrument installation
· To support to local LSS team to run automation smoothly in the regional area
· To provide high quality technical support to Beckman Coulter users and achieve customer satisfaction on automation
· To provide product training for LSS and dealers
· To provide technical support in company business affairs such as seminar and exhibition
· To assist local LSS to make progress for automation
· To work with technical engineer to give lab solutions to customer
- To give work report to Automation Application Manager in time

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:
- External contacts for this position include hospital, laboratory, and university.
- Internal contacts include all LS department staff members as well as other pre-sale and post-sale department staff in other offices of the company to gain information or to resolve problems.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND GIVEN:
The incumbent of this position is responsible for his/her own work. Only new work is reviewed before issue, all other work is handled independently, reporting status to managers/supervisor. Some work requires analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment, but most assignments are specific and well defined.
EDUCATION & SKILLS:
- College or above in Engineering or Medical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or relevant education background.
- Good English skills in speaking, reading and writing.
WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two years of working experience with Clinical Medical, Medical background. Being experienced in the Diagnostic industry is preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position may require business traveling in a frequent situation.
This position functions in a general office environment.
