JOB : Senior Specialist, SCM INCUMBENT (S) :
SUPV. TITLE : Sr. Manager, SCM
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Capture the essence of the whole job in one or two sentences.
Candidate is responsible for procurement of poultry and related products to support XXX ! China restaurant operations
JOB SIZE: Provide quantitative data such as # of restaurants/markets, sales, budgets, etc. Indicate size of operations for which job is responsible. Indicate domestic/worldwide accountability.
5300 base restaurants + 700 new restaurants per year
Amount (all poultry SKUs): US$ 150MM + per annum
Number of suppliers: 40+ (China)
JOB FUNCTIONS: List major job functions using simple task statements. For example: Supervises the construction of all new restaurants. (Include % of time spent on each function.)
- Participates in poultry procurement strategies and day-to-day purchasing activities
- Serves as liaison between suppliers and internal customers. Resolves delivery, quality and issues related to P.O., invoices and custom clearance
- Responsible for supplies availability, suppliers’ performance, contract compliance, master data, cost reductions, new supplier development, etc.
- Reviews and analyzes requisitions, supply plans and conduct evaluation of market trends and conditions
- Conduct tender / negotiation of contracts
- Solicits cost reduction ideas from suppliers and initiates action plan to implement savings for the company.

Project and X-function Management --- 25%
Administration --- 15%

Education Level: Bachelor Degree in Purchasing or Food Processing or Business Administration
More than 3 years purchasing experience in a food processing environment with raw material importation experience
Must have good command of the English Language - both oral and written
