Job title: Import & Export Officer
Report to Logistics Manager
Main Responsibility:
Importation & Exportation
? Work with Procurement in vendor selection process on Import & Export Brokers in Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou and other possible ports to ensure best in class service with the right balance of cost and efficiency.
? Manager day to day routine to work with brokers for importation and exportation process to ensure service level is delivered thus there is no major impact to the business
? Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of Importation & Exportation process, working with supplier and key partners to drive the improvement of the process and create value
? Facilitate the payment to the supplier; analyze the expense to identify the value creation opportunities in the process.
Government Interface
? Perform as the interface between the company and the government in various cities in China from the operational aspect
? Coordinate and answer clarification questions that government functions may have on a specific import and export cases
? Get regulatory updates from Government on the importation and exportation related area. Help internal team to understand the impact or evaluate the risk. Then participate actively in developing and executing the action plan.
Transportation (developing role – 10%)
? Develop transportation capability by leverage global & bottler expertise
? Working with procurement, customer service to management transportation routines
? Develop transportation performance metrics to ensure fitness for use of all material/service provided, superior customer service, and continuous improvements to efficiency and productivity
