职位描述
Qualification: CIMA, ACA, ACCA or local equivalent qualification. CRO or other Healthcare Services, CPA, and preferably MBA.
Duties and responsibilities directly or through management of the team:
? Accountabilities
? Accurate and timely invoicing to sponsors
? Achieve budgeted revenue and EBITDA objectives for business unit
? Provides reports on key business operations metrics
? Ensures team comply with the requirements of their job descriptions
? Contributes to the project allocation decisions within their team
? Reviews overall workload of team and ensures all projects are progressing correctly
? Reviewing and ensuring integrity of project finance information that will be presented to senior management or sponsors
? Reviewing audit documentation and liaising with external and internal audit teams
? Represents company at Sponsor meetings
? Ensures that Pass Through and Investigator Fee expenses are all billed to maximise cash-flow and profitability
? Provides Core Operations Finance support services
? Ensures that projects are set up in finance systems in compliance with company's rules and procedures. These include but are not limited to:
? JDE
? Data Basics
? And other applications as they are made available
? Ensures additional information is provided with respect to:
? Finance templates
? Backlog files
? Unbilled
? Accounts Receivable
? Liaises with multiple Project Managers, Project Directors, Directors of Project Delivery and General Partners
? Maintains work environment to company standards ensuring quality workspace and equipment
? Manages Project Analysts who have financial oversight over assigned projects
? Participates in Project Reviews and directs discussion on financial issues
? Verifies the update to Forecast Hours
? Verifies the update to Forecast Resource Assigned Hours
? Escalation of projects to senior management review in accordance with escalation criteria
? Management Accounting
? Provides reports on key business operations metrics
? Analyzes and explains variances from budget levels
? Develops consolidated annual financial budgets and monthly financial forecasts.
? Leading the Financial Planning and Analysis work for the Business Unit, which includes budgeting, forecasting and variance analyses
? Interpreting consolidated and distributed financial results through leadership review, trend identification and analysis of risks and opportunities.
? Providing key financial leadership, solutions and value-added analysis and decision making tools to business leaders in order to achieve financial and non-financial targets
? Providing leadership to support cost effective recommendations to strengthen operations, improve financial performance and achieve overall objectives.
? Reviewing and approving specific Balance Sheet or P&L reconciliation to Gross Profit
? Responsible for the accuracy of business unit Revenue Recognition and invoicing
? Accurate and timely recognition of revenue
? Reviews month-end accruals and approve results
? Analyzes and explains variances from budget levels
? Contributes to the revenue, profitability and cash-flow of the company
? Provides accurate backlog/forecast of revenue from projects within their portfolio
? Ensures that Unit grid contract values are fully supported
? Ensure compliance with month end reporting
? Reviewing and approving specific Balance Sheet or P&L reconciliation to Gross Profit
? Participates in final QC of Proposals and Contracts and Change Orders
? Reviews proposals for financial integrity of the overall bid and financial terms
? Approves final contract prior to signature
? Manages the approvals in line with published approval thresholds
? Ensures overall project profitability
? Ensures change orders are developed for out of scope work
? Reviews payment schedules
? Reviews business practices for continued improvement and added efficiencies
? Trains and communicates new processes to staff and/ or business unit personnel
? Ensures adherence to corporate policies and procedures
? Contributes to process or system enhancement initiatives
? Procurement
? Negotiate best prices with vendors for both project (where appropriate) and non-project expenses.
? Manage all non-projects related purchases
? Travel management in conjunction with other purchasing managers
? Primary contact liaison for strategic sourcing, procurement, resource management, vendor management, asset management, portfolio management, and cost allocation.
? Work in collaboration with other purchasing managers to leverage best pricing for company.
? Adopt best practice capex approval and tracking.
? Provides Core business support services
? Maintains work environment to company standards ensuring quality workspace and equipment
? Manages Office Services and Facilities group providing services to subsidiarie's employees and corporate accounting
? Identifies and recommends facility needs, including negotiation of terms
Skills and Knowledge
? Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
? Priortise workload and to organise competing priorities
? Ability to train, supervise and mentor others
? Ability to plan and ensure team delivers quality end product against constant time pressures
? Clear leadership and problem solving capability
? Excellent attention to detail whilst not losing sight of big picture

? Ability to facilitate communications with Sponsors, project teams, departments and staff
? Ability to make decisions on company policies and procedures regarding Operations Finance
? MS Office Skills particularly MS Excel
? Significant understanding/knowledge of Clinical Trials in order to contribute to project discussions concerning profitability and financial performance
? Understanding of financial data and systems, financial statements, annual operations planning, budgeting, and job cost accounting
? Maintain confidentiality of financial data and personnel information
? Capability of providing leadership with direct reports and across functional lines
Experience
? Project analysis or similar requiring project accounting skills
? Proven experience in managing and developing staff and their career objectives
? Held similar position in service industry or have demonstrated competence in previous roles
? Ideally, but not essential, experience using JDE.
? Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, be articulate in explanations and communicate in a clear, positive fashion with clients, management, and staff at all times
? Read, write, and speak fluent English; Mandarin speaking, and preferably fluent.
? Demonstrate excellent analytical and organization abilities, dedication to quality, and reliability in all work tasks
