Assuring all ingredients/packaging materials are tested in a timely manner Monitoring that sampling and testing is completed in timely manner following all applicable quality procedures to assure the ingredients and packaging materials specifications and quality requirements are met.

Reviewing/monitoring test reports and documentation for accuracy. Out-of-specification or problem solving of ingredients and packaging materials as required. Department liaison to other plant departments, Division and material suppliers. Assure that laboratories supplies are maintained appropriately. Assure that data for computer systems is maintained

Develop positive relations with other individuals in the department, supporting departments, Division and suppliers.

Responsible for assisting to complete 3Q of incoming equipment and test method transfer and validation.

Responsible for implementing routine activities in incoming laboratory

1 Provides a safe work environment and sets expectations around safety with direct reports.

2 Ensures compliance with workorders, GMP’s and internal/external policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations.

3 Adjusts labor resources to cover for vacations, meetings, overtime and sick time. Organizes and monitors the labor resources to match the days workload. Communicates meetings and general information to everyone working in the department.

4 Direct liaison with suppliers. Responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with suppliers; tracking supplier performance and address any performance issues with the supplier, and addresses supplier corrective actions

5 Completes resolution of documentation and quality issues with manufacturing and vendors

6 Supervises the coordination of packaging material holds and isolations

7 Works directly with Division Quality Assurance and purchasing on supplier issues

8 Responsibilities for maintenance of supplier and raw material acceptance files, perform record/files review, as well as statistical/trend analysis of data

9 Completes computer data entry and enhancement; maintains material control databases (MRP) and DQA vendor tracking database

10 Responsible for assisting to complete 3Q of equipment and test method transfer and validation according to the predefined timetable and requirement of procedure

11 Perform and ensure timely and safe sampling / testing / release of raw materials and packaging components in order to provide prompt service to support production activities in a safe and productive environment

12 Highlight any issues found during laboratory testing / sampling and support any ongoing laboratory investigations, as well as any CAPA required

13 Support all plant investigations related to raw materials and packaging issues

14 Ensure that the retention sample program is carried out in accordance to Abbott’s requirements

15 Involve in general Laboratory Management duties ensuring adherence to GLP and GDP, and subsequently to ISO 17025

16 Responsible for training new lab employees on laboratory operations which includes methods, procedures, documentation, maintenance and safety

17 Coaches, develops, and mentors employees in areas of responsibility. Responsible for recruitment, selection, development and retention of employees. Conducts performance reviews; develops growth plans; interprets, implements and supports employee-related policies, procedures and programs. Assigns projects/tasks to direct staff.

18 Follow all GMP, Plant hygiene and Health and Safety Rules and Regulations in the plant

19 Perform shift work if required

EHS

1 Follow all EHS rules and procedures for QA department.

2 Report any EHS incidents and/or Near Misses (unsafe acts and conditions) promptly to supervision.

3 Attend all required training and medical surveillance programs.

4 Wear all PPE as required.

5 Propose any opportunities to improve the EHS program to supervision.

REQUIREMENTS:

Industry experiences:

1 Good communication skill to solve the issues of the suppliers

2 Good practical knowledge of GMP and GLP in food/pharmaceutical manufacturing

3 Good knowlege and practice in documentation management

4 Knowledge of HACCP and ISO systems would be preferred

5 Experience in incoming check and release of raw / packaging material is preferred

Position experiences:

1 Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

2 Team player with imitative, drive, good communication skills

3 Relevant experience in docuemntation management.

Language Skills：

Good verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English

Computer Skills:

Fundamental computer application skills
