Job Title: Director of Quality Assurance
Report To: G.M. of China Operations
Summary
The Director of Quality Assurance Consultant will manage but not limited to quality, fit, comfort, and lead QA teams, to create, support, and execute a global QA / QC process. The position will be based in Putan, China with travel as needed globally.
Responsibilities
Execute plans and special assignments directed by the G.M.
Lead and assign duties amongst the QA Department.
Monitor and adhere to the RO and responsible departments budgets.
Lead bi-weekly meetings with the QA managers.
Establish update, and implement SOP for QA / QC / Fit / Wear testing process.
Analyze production KPIs and execute CAP where needed to improve quality.
Troubleshoot development concepts prior to mass production.
Communicate effectively between Development, Commercialization, QA / QC, and US teams.
Travel as needed according to business needs whether domestic or international.
Work with management teams to revise and update TOMS SOPs as needed.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
Master's degree preferred in business or engineering.
In line of education, 10-15 years of QA / QC experience in the footwear industry is required.
Accessory and apparel experience is a plus.
Fluent in English / Mandarin and proficient with computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.
