Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for managing a chemical manufacturing site within the Lawter network. The site will have multiple shifts with several employees on each shift which run chemical . The site will manufacture, package, and ship required products on a daily basis. This position will have responsibility for the safety, environmental, processing, shipping, maintenance, projects, human resources, SOX compliance, and other assigned duties at the site.

? Zero OSHA recordable injuries at the site
? Zero environmental releases, contamination or complaints
? Full compliance with SOX, Accounting, and Lawter procedures and regulations
? Quality of production greater than 97%
? Equipment utilization greater than 85%
? Inventory controls that include cycle counting, accuracy, and FIFO
? Cost control that meets the budget for the site
? Other jobs assigned by the line manager

Requirements:

WORK EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
MINIMUM:
? Experience in dealing with government relationship
? 8 years of plant management experience
? Successfully managed a site or department
? Bachelor degree in engineering, mechanic, chemistry business management or related field

DESIRABLE:
? 10 years of chemical plant management experience
? Completion of advanced business degree
? Experience in managing multiple shifts

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
MINIMUM:
? Engineering (chemical or mechanical) or business degree or equivalent/relevant experience

DESIRABLE:
? Advanced Degree in Business
? Other Certifications that are relevant to managing people or sites

? Ability to manage people effectively and timely
? Able to function with minimal direction
? Good communicator – written and verbal
? Organized
