Description
This position is responsible for global strategic sourcing for Purchase Complete Buy to
Sell Products Commodity for ECC global. This position reports to the AP Sr Manager of
BTS Commodity Management for ECC. This role includes being the Supply partner for the
business team (s) to include process definition, deployment, results and continuous
improvement, strategy development and implementation, delivery to an annual
operating plan for material deflation.
Specific Information:
The role includes leadership of the following:
Strategic Sourcing
YOY Material Productivity
Supplier Rationalization
Localization
Global Sourcing for target commodities
Working Capital
NPI product introduction
Annual Spend: $45M
Commodity management.
Goals
Annual Operation Plan goals which includes supplier rationalization, productivity,
lead-time reductions, working capital improvement, quality and delivery performance.
Principal Accountabilities
Through the analysis of current spend, processes and practices, develop a direct
material sourcing strategy for the ECC business unit that supports the goals of the
business units including supplier consolidation, process standardization, base and
variable cost reduction, transaction cost removal, and process digitization that meets the
annual operating plan. Design and deploy processes that are consistent with the
identified strategy through teaming with the other Sourcing Leaders. Team with Business
Leaders, ensure appropriate sourcing measures and metrics are in place and deployed
that measure progress against initiatives and develop necessary corrective action plans.
Effectively consolidate direct suppliers with identified strategic partners. Working with
other strategic sourcing leaders, select and manage required suppliers who have the
capacity and capability to meet the material and subcontract needs of the
business.Implement processes to enable technology driven processes including
e-auctions of major spend opportunities. Support ACS Global Commodity Teams.
Effectively achieve targeted synergies.
Qualifications
CIPS and/or CPM certification desired.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
Leadership experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement
Previous experience in global high-mix manufacturing business preferred
Experience with global sourcing teams
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

Experience driving large-scale organizational change

Proven ability to influence results in a global, decentralized organization
