Responsibilities:

? Utilize Strategic Source Process for strategy development; develop and document Gum Rosin strategies, using Procurement Plans; must have an understanding of procurement methodologies.
? Negotiate commercial aspects of Gum Rosin, including pricing, payment terms, logistics and volumes, etc.
? Optimize contractual value through purchasing techniques including supplier allocations, long term contract, etc.
? Develop strong internal relationships with businesses linked to commodity set: establish a strong link to the business objectives in source strategy;
? Participate in monthly rosin sourcing meetings; provide regular commodity updates and source related information to business as well as procurement team.
? Implement tactics to increase and drive productivity and maintain metrics on cost savings, supplier performance.
? Optimize cash flow aspects of the material.
? Responsible for tactical issues with suppliers including supply allocation, supply shortages, freight/delivery issues and accounts payable issues.
? Coordinate and assist in the development of monthly and annual price forecasts.
? Establish and maintain relationships with market relative to pricing and market trends.
? In conjunction with Global Supply Chain & Procurement Director, helps to establish the strategic direction and priorities within business, drives creation of strategic plans and objectives necessary to achieve them.
? Fosters positive support from regional and business management through proactive communications and participation on business teams.
? Develop and commit to Cash Management productivity projects by managing and improving payment terms of suppliers.
? Purchasing of raw material and indirect goods.
? Purchase info record maintenance
? Logistic arrangement for the purchasing orders.Coordinate with regional and overseas buyers on logistics.
? Other work assigned by the line manager

Requirements:

? Bachelor degree, major in Business or Chemistry background is preferred
? 8+ years relevant experience, including sourcing, procurement, planning, logistics, supply chain, knowledge of current technologies related to: process analysis, supply chain optimization,procurement, logistics, resource planning and optimization
? Inventory management
? Strong negotiation skills and analytical skills
? Excellent interpersonal skills
? Good at SAP and ERP operation, have SAP materials management experience
