职位描述

工作职责:

The position of PBG China Corp. Affairs and Communication Lead is to contribute the successful long-term performance for Pfizer China and develop the proactive integrated external and internal communication programs that maximize appropriate positioning opportunities for Pfizer China its products and programs, and support its desired image among key internal and external audiences;

The role will work with the China President and China LT in creating and sustaining key stakeholder relationships across China and other influential national organizations in order to achieve the China vision and strategy and attain its commercial goals, being a key advocate of the company purpose - “breakthroughs that change patients’ lives” in China.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to develop and execute strategic Corporate Affairs & Communication initiatives including but not limited to:

Develop and implement strategies to positively influence the China environment to support more rapid uptake and appropriate use of Pfizer medicines and enhance Pfizer reputation;

Forge, develop, and maintain strong relationships with senior influential China stakeholders to inform China overall and individual commercial strategies, to influence national Health policies, meet the needs of these stakeholders and enhance Pfizer reputation;

Represent Pfizer externally in order to improve Pfizer’s operating environment and mitigate the impact of issues or crises potentially damaging to Pfizer’s reputation

Implement prioritized Corporate Affairs support activities for PBG China;

Ensures all Corporate Affairs & Communication within PBG China is managed effectively and efficiently, ensuring directorate provide strategic customer insights to China Commercial teams to help realize commercial objectives and enhance Pfizer’s reputation.

Create a Strategic Execution system/ Balanced Scorecard to measure progress against objectives

Ensure integrated communication strategy with effective communication of Pfizer brand and corporate messages to range of internal and external stakeholders.

Partner with key internal stakeholder to identify, develop and execute new ideas to enhance internal employer proposition;

Work closely with global/regional Worldwide Communications colleagues to support external stakeholders and internal communications;

Design, develop and execute communications plans for Pfizer’s innovative medicines and vaccines through brand communications, brand related media monitoring, issues and crisis management and media relations;

Collaborate cross-functionally to create consistent messaging that can be used across key stakeholders and develop communications materials including press releases, Q&A documents, presentations, fact sheets, video "script"s, speeches and briefing documents;

Leverage innovative digital and social media strategies to educate external audiences in accordance with all compliance and legal guidelines;

Manage the external agencies to ensure activities adhere to compliance and legal guidelines, and are completed on time and within budget;People & Team development:

Background Requirements:

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 15 plus years of experience in communications with direct international pharmaceutical experience;

Special Knowledge

Seasoned communication professional, preferred the combined experience in professional media firms and multinational companies in China;

15 plus-year experience in designing, planning and executing communication projects in a multinational company in China;

Deep insights about China, including the political, economic and industry factors impacting on the business environment and healthcare sector;

Integrate the priorities of the Chinese government with the company’s purpose, e.g., designing communication strategy to address the priorities of Healthy China 2030;

Broad network with government communication channels and media partners;

Close contact with government communication departments and press spokesperson, especially those relating to the healthcare sector;

Established broad and trusted partnership with media groups at central government, provincial and selected city levels;

Strong business acumen, deep understanding and buy-in of the Pfizer purpose and culture, including the culture of the headquarters, regions and China;

Understand Pfizer’s business model which is built around breakthrough innovations in pharmaceutical products and vaccines, able to integrate communication strategy with business strategy;

Strong track record of working in Pfizer, demonstrating high integrity, collaborations and effectiveness;

Able to lead under pressure, with the experience of crisis management;

Establish trust and collaborations with external and internal stakeholders;

Experience in effectively using communications to influence internal and external audiences, especially in support of top leadership at market and regional level;

Skills

Good business acumen;

Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with strong command of language in Chinese and English

Strong analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills; able to work against tight deadlines and maintain high levels of professionalism under pressure

Proven skill at working effectively across functions and at all levels; strong interpersonal and leadership skills; knowledge of existing stakeholders at Pfizer HQ, regional HQ and Pfizer China preferred

Knowledge of traditional and new media, experience with developing intranets, internets and social media

Customer-focused/led by stakeholder needs;

Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels;

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team-oriented environment;

Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels;
