Summary of purpose/major responsibilities

Establish and maintain mutually-beneficial relations with key government stakeholders and advocate company positions within local vaccine legislative and governance framework. Provide guidance and participate in the promotion of vaccination to raise government and public acceptance to company’s vaccine products, vaccination awareness and confidence in general. Leverage diversified bilateral platforms to deliver certain goals, e.g. advancing business agenda, enhancing corporate image, etc.
与政府当局建立并维持良好互惠关系,明确公司在我国现有疫苗法律和治理框架下的主要立场并进行倡导。指导并参与提升疫苗接种率的活动,提升政府及公众对公司产品接受度和广义疫苗接种意识及接种信心。利用多样化双边平台促进业务目标的实现,例如,助推公司商业日程、提升公司企业形象等。
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
关键职责
1. In close coordination with business management, to advocate Sanofi Pasteur’s positions within current legislative and governance framework and to earn more favorable policy environment for company and any related products:
与公司管理层沟通合作,立足我国现有疫苗法律和治理框架,就赛诺菲巴斯德的主要立场进行倡导,为公司和公司产品争取有利政策环境。
-Understand fully and able to respect the legislative and governance structure/process/policy of vaccine industry, have a clear picture of external stakeholders involved in the process of policy-making.
透彻理解并遵守我国疫苗行业法律和治理结构/流程/政策,熟悉疫苗政策制定的外部利益相关方。
-Analyze and assess the implications of government policy for SP’s business and advise senior leaders and company’s management to recognize corporate opportunities and threats in the field of public affairs, and further bring out and advocate company’s positions with key government stakeholders.
分析评估政府法规政策对赛诺菲巴斯德业务的影响,并向领导和公司管理层进行建议,共同识别公司在公共关系领域主要机会和威胁。
-Establish and maintain mutually-beneficial relations with external players, especially key government stakeholders, to voice and align company’s positions to earn a more favorable policy environment for SP and our products.
与外部相关方,尤其是政府当局重要相关方,建立并维护良好互惠关系,倡导公司立场并使其得到重视,为赛诺菲巴斯德和公司产品赢得更有利的政策环境。
-Arrange and support Senior Executive visits in China.

2. Advocate vaccine value and production complexity, as well as best immunization practices. Provide guidance on the promotion of vaccination and enhance vaccination confidence
宣传疫苗价值和赛诺菲巴斯德的优质产品,总结***接种实践并宣传,为提升疫苗接种率及疫苗接种信心提供指导。
-Communicate actively with SP in foreign countries, other units of local company, and key external stakeholders. Learn best practices on awareness/confidence enhancement and develop a clear understanding of viable activities among all practices.
与其他国家的赛诺菲巴斯德公司、国内公司的其他部门、外部相关方积极沟通,学习其就提升意识和信心方面的***实践,明确认知其中的可行活动。
-Maintain open communication channel with key government stakeholders, advocate vaccine value and production complexity, as well as best immunization practice proposal to the family health
与政府当局重要相关方保持顺畅沟通,提升政府内部对疫苗接种和公司优质疫苗的意识和信心,积极宣传***疫苗接种方案。
-In close cooperation with management leaders and business department, to provide guidance on the promotion of vaccination (Combo for infants & Flu for elderly) through the health authority publicity channel.
与公司管理层和其他业务部门紧密合作,搭建与卫生健康部门合作的宣传渠道,为提高接种率提供政策指导。
-Design and implement localized campaign projects in China, raise the government and public awareness and confidence of vaccination and high-quality vaccines from SP.
设计并执行匹配国内现状和公司策略的本地化系列活动,提升政府内部和公众对疫苗接种及赛诺菲巴斯德优质疫苗的意识和信心。
3. Leverage diversified bilateral platforms to deliver certain goals, e.g. advancing business agenda, enhancing corporate image, etc.
利用多样化双边平台促进业务目标的实现,例如,助推公司商业日程、提升公司企业形象,等。
-Leverage the bilateral platform to address vaccine MNC policy barriers and issues.
利用各类双边平台阐明疫苗跨国企业在国内的政策障碍和问题。
-Facilitate creation of broad coalitions to advance company agenda. Create opportunities to enhance the corporate image of SP as a leading pioneer in vaccine industry.
参与协助联盟合作,助推公司商业日程。创造各类机会加强赛诺菲巴斯德疫苗行业领军企业形象。
-Evaluate and utilize existing/available tools, partnerships, and resources to achieve goals.
评估并利用现有/可行工具、伙伴关系、资源,实现业务目标。
4. Provide strategic public health policy expertise to other departments, including but not limited to:
为其它部门提供战略性公共卫生政策方面的专门意见。
-Marketing & Strategy Department 市场及战略部门

-Medical Affairs 医学事务
5. Represent Sanofi Pasteur to participate in vaccine industry activities.
代表赛诺菲巴斯德公司参与疫苗行业的活动。
-Ensure that Sanofi Pasteur’s position is reflected in all aspects of theses vaccine industry activities in alignment with commercial operations objectives
确保在这些疫苗行业活动中的各个方面反应出赛诺菲巴斯德公司的立场并同其商业运营目标一致。
-Act as a SP spokesperson in the vaccine industry activities with respect to vaccine industry issues and public health policy.

CONTEXT OF THE JOB/MAJOR CHALLENGES

The major challenges of the job are reflected in communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with key contacts in government, in the public health authorities, in the experts community and internally with Medical, Research, Regulatory, Marketing and Production. The job is challenging requiring an understanding of the Chinese vaccine industry and the governmental decision making procedure. The work environment includes internal and external meetings, travel and routine office work.

-Strong knowledge of vaccinology and significant experience (minimal 8 years) in a broad range of functions within the vaccine industry coupled with a deep understanding of public health and immunization policy. Scientific and or medical experience is a requirement.
