Position Title : IA Manager-Data Analysis



Report To : South Region Audit Controller


Department : Internal Audit Department



Duties and Responsibilities

1. Identify potential operation risk through conduct daily data analysis such as Inventory, Stock, Shrinkage, etc, and provide relate recommendation for addressing the risk.

2. Lead and perform assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of the South Operation's processes for controlling its activities and managing its risks, using an appropriate risk-based methodology.

3. Report significant issues related to the operation processes reviewed.

4. Provide business recommendation on the potential improvements to the processes.

5. Communicate with process owners to gain agreement in relation to the risks and recommendations for addressing the risks.

6. Follow up on the implementation of agreed actions and give timely input by way of advice and training where poorly operated/implemented controls highlight a major risk to the business.

7. Participate in ad hoc projects as and when required.



Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree with major in Finance or related

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, auditing, risk management or retail operations, retails business experience is preferred.

3. Proficient use the audit data analysis tools such as ACL, etc.

4. Sensitive in risks and be able to identify risks in various business processes

5. Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, investigative and analytical mind with professional integrity

6. Strong leadership and be able to work independently to deal with all levels of management and good problems solver

7. Fluent spoken and written English
