Training Specialist


Primary Job Function / Core Job Responsibilities:

The Training Specialist will be responsible for:

· Executing curriculum management, implementation, translation, and delivery plans and activities to support training delivery operations in assigned geography.

· Using processes and technologies to maximize the learning experience with a focus on delivery of training curriculums to meet employee performance and development needs within an assigned geographic area

· Translating plans into actions and carrying them out; monitoring performance against established goals.



Specifically, the Training Specialist is responsible for each of the following:

· Use global training delivery processes and related standards, templates, and tools/resources to implement L&D programs in assigned geography.

· Plan and support course pilots.

· Ensure effective communication, marketing, and delivery of all courses.

· Provide on-site delivery support for classes.

· Coordinate translation activities across the assigned geography.

· Support instructor certification and train-the-trainer sessions.

· Generate metrics, evaluations, pulse surveys, and status reports.

· Analyze emerging work and align solutions with existing core/critical content.

· Write of Statements of Work, create purchase requisitions, and process supplier invoices.

· Communicate effectively with the Practice Center, the Global Training Infrastructure team, L&D Consultants, and Area L&D Teams.



Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Major in Business, Instructional Design, or Education preferred.



Experience/Training Required:

· 2-4 years in training delivery operations required.

· Administration, implementation, and improvement of processes and procedures.

· Some global training experience preferred; global mindset required.

· Ability to ask questions to gather delivery requirements.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

· Instructional design theory and process; instructional methodologies.

· Proficient in Excel, MS Word, and MS Access.

· Project and process management tools, processes, and skills required.

· Experience managing projects preferred.
