职位描述
Purpose
? To Provide Manufacturability Feedback to Engineering on New Products and Process and Support Product and Process improvements on Existing products, at our key tier one and two suppliers and CEMs.
? Scope: PSS/ PWS and PSG price book products
2. Specific Responsibilities:
? Provide Manufacturability reports to Engineering covering fit with existing suppliers for make to print parts and existing assembly processes, coordinate feedback with Test engineering testability reports. - using tools available.
? Develop product review tools and processes to ensure new products meet quality requirements at launch to Pilot status
? Review and agree process flows with suppliers and approve any required changes
? Review all Engineering Changes to ensure all changes to processes are in place for Change implementation, including capital requests
? Work with Suppliers on existing Product and Process improvements as make sense from cost and quality perspective
? Recommend Improvement initiatives based on data captured and analysis performed.
3. Education/Training/Experience
? Degree / Masters in Electronics or Manufacturing related subjects
? Minimum 8 Years experience in manufacturing related industries with a sound understanding of manufacturing processes - new product introduction processes & Bills of Material structuring
? Able to keep abreast of new technologies and equipment related to the role
? Working knowledge of Quality techniques and tools
? Demonstrate initiative and determination in solving problems.
? Confident and articulate in interpersonal relationships.
? PC literate particularly with Microsoft office and Business systems e.g. Oracle
? Familiarity with costing processes, and cost drivers
Extensive interfacing/communication with European and USA based organizations
