Job Title: DBS manager

Department: Continuous Improvement

Reports To: DBS Growth Leader

Position Location: Shanghai

POSITION SUMMARY:

The DBS Leader is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System at Danaher companies. Focusing on driving breakthrough in key areas: Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sales Force Effectiveness and Customer Insights for their region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize DBS(Danaher Business system, a lean system applied in commercial) to assist Deputy GM in South region to install, sustain and improve commercial process and standard work to hit commercial objectives

  • Implement, improve, and sustain foundational sales effectiveness processes including lead generation, management, sales effectiveness and daily management

  • Implement and sustain key marketing improvements in targeted areas – anticipated to be lead generation and management and web marketing at targeted operating companies

  • Identify best practices within region and share across BEC

  • Assist site / company Leadership in the development of a DBS roadmap

  • Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching

  • Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in DBS tools (MBB process for self and others).

Most Important Competencies Required:
  • English communication skill is a must

  • Commercial (Marketing, Channel Management, Sales Force Efficiency) background is preferred, and experience on any Lean system(DBS, 6 sigma, PPI…) is a plus

  • Willing to travel. Based in Shanghai and focus on South region, especially Guangdong. ~50% travel in the 1st 2 years.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • BS/BA or above Degree is required

  • 5+ years of Commercial experience with demonstrated success

  • Knowledge of key growth tools is a plus: VOC, Customer Segmentation, Demand Generation, Value Selling, Pricing Margin Management, Price Leakage Kaizen

  • Ability to analyze commercial capabilities, root cause and identify DBS growth tool improvement priorities

  • Ability to work with functions in the implementation of the DBS roadmap

  • Superior communications skills

  • Superior training skills and adult learning theory

  • Superior consulting/influencing skills

  • Good writing and administrative skills, including computer skills
